Tour of the NEW medical assisting facilities

A Medical Assisting tour is scheduled for Wednesday 12 Nov at 10:30am. Please meet in the lobby of the Tomeu building between 10:00 and 10:10 - we will leave promptly at 10:15 to walk over to the Medical Assisting area. If you are interested in ANY medical field, you should attend this tour because you can begin as a medical assistant and then branch into other fields of healthcare. If you need to work to be able to attend classes, medical assisting is the way to go! It's a good paying job and often employers will pay for your classes. It can't hurt to check out this program, so please meet us in the lobby by 10:10am.

Is your CPR certification current????

CPR certification usually only lasts two years. Get out your CPR card and check your date! You should remain CPR certified if you are planning on a healthcare career. If you need to take a certification class, go to IRSC's website (see below) to find out which class will fit into your schedule! Or just ask your Pre-health academy coordinator or facilitator.
